PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image of a high picture quality by enabling a recording of a higher gradation property by an inkjet recording head which can discharge a plurality of ink discharging amounts of the same color, and also, provide a stable discharge without increasing a turbulence in the discharge generated by the viscosity increase of the ink in a vicinity of the discharging port resulting from the moisture evaporation in the ink which becomes remarkable when the recording is performed by a small ink discharging amount or without increasing the frequency of a preliminary discharge, and in addition, increase recording throughput by minimizing the maintenance time for the head, and also, reduce the running cost by reducing the ink amount wastefully used and not contributing to the image recording. SOLUTION: This inkjet recording head has a discharge port group of a plurality of ink discharging amounts for recording the same color. The discharge port group is connected with one ink feeding passage, and the discharge port of the discharge port group and a flow resistance of the ink in the ink flow passage to the ink feeding passage are made different depending on the ink discharging amount.
