The cylinder (1) has a chamber (2) and a piston (3) that includes a rod (32) and a head (31). The head of the piston includes a surface (310) opposite to the rod that faces a bottom surface (21) of the chamber. The bottom surface of the chamber includes a stop unit (4) having a contact surface (41) impermeable to fluid that faces a portion of one of the piston head surface and bottom surface of the chamber. The contact surface of the stop unit is arranged to expel the air located between the contact surface and the portion of one of the piston head surface and bottom surface of the chamber.
