PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely reciprocate an optical pickup in a horizontal attitude. SOLUTION: The optical pickup 6 is arranged in a center hole 3a of a chassis 3 with a turn table 4 to rotate a disk D mounted thereto. Supporting pieces 9a-9d are cut and raised from the chassis 3 so as to face both ends of a pair of guide shafts 7, 8 to support the optical pickup 6 so as to make it movable along the radius direction of the disk D. Height adjusting screws 11a-11d are screwed into screw holes penetrating through and arranged on the chassis 3 in the vicinity of the respective supporting pieces 9a-9d. Torsion springs 12a-12d to press the both ends of the respective guide shafts 7, 8 against side edges of the supporting pieces 9a-9d and tips of the height adjusting screws 11a-11d are engaged with both the ends of the respective guide shafts 7, 8. With respect to the inside of a positioning zone H among the height adjusting screws 11a-11d, one pair of the torsion springs 12a, 12c are located therein, and the other pair of the torsion springs 12b, 12d are located at the outside thereof.
