PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the swinging motion of a disk in a chucking state by preventing the torsional deformation of a traverse caused by the imbalance of weight. SOLUTION: A disk chucking operation or a disk chucking release operation generated by the cooperation of a clamper 40 and a turntable 24 is performed by the traverse 20 rocking in a normal or reverse direction. A traverse posture holding means 50 is added which corrects the torsional deformation of the traverse 20 caused by the imbalance of the weight to assist the stabilization of the posture in the disk chucking state. The traverse posture holding means 50 includes a reception part 51 comprising a hole formed at the one-side end of a front end in the width direction of the traverse and a pressing part 55 pressing the reception part 51 to adjust a height level of the one-side end thereof to a height level of the other-side end of the front end of the traverse 20 in the width direction.
