A chemical analysis titration assembly has a burette assembly secured by a first clamp and a discharge tip secured by a second clamp. The tip bears a read-out display. The burette further incorporates a motor drive that is detachable from the dosing piston. The burette further has a control panel and a control unit coupled to the read-out, motor and discharge piston. The read-out system is mechanical or optical and attached to a side-flange. Also claimed is a titration process in which the piston discharges a regulated relatively large quantity of liquid in a first phase, followed smaller amounts of fluid in a second phase. The burette has a step electric motor, hydraulic or pneumatic motor. |
