PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus using a continuous medium, configured to stably convey the continuous medium.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus (U) includes: image forming sections (Uy-Uk+T1+T2+B+F) having a transfer apparatus (T1+B+T2) for transferring an image to a continuous medium (S) which is continuous along a conveyance direction, and a fixing apparatus (F) for fixing an unfixed image on the continuous medium (S) transferred by the transfer apparatus (T1+B+T2); a take-up device (U4a) for taking up the continuous medium (S) with the image fixed thereon; and a towing member (1) which is arranged downstream of the fixing apparatus (F) and upstream of the take-up device (U4a), with respect to the conveyance direction of the continuous medium (S), to convey the continuous medium (S) towed downstream.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
