PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid dynamic-pressure bearing device which suppresses scattering and consumption of lubrication fluid. SOLUTION: The fluid dynamic-pressure bearing device is provided with: a bearing housing 2 inserted with a radial bearing 4 in a hollow part 2a for putting in the lubricating fluid; a thrust plate 3 blocking one end side of the hollow part 2a and receiving a shaft end of a rotary shaft 5 inserted from another side of the hollow part 2a; and an annular sealing member 6 having a shaft insertion hole 6a for passing the rotary shaft 5, and blocking the other side of the hollow part 2a. The annular seal member 6 has a fluid return groove 6c carrying out axial returning in an outer circumference face 6b side, and an end face 6d of the annular seal member 6 in an opposite radial bearing side is a tapered face gradually separating away toward an opposite radial bearing side in an axial direction from the outer circumference face 6b side to a shaft insertion hole 6a side.
