PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-metallic electrical contact or a slider having a composite carbon fiber material to which electrical signal is transmitted. SOLUTION: The electrical contact 82 includes a carbon fiber layer having a long flat plane structure arranged with a plurality of bundles of carbon fibers of practically in a same direction, wherein adjoining bundles of carbon fibers except a portion are bonded together with a synthetic resin composite. A supporting strip 80 is formed by bonding the electrical contact 82 with a conductive adhesive 84. Each free end of bundles of carbon fibers of the carbon fiber layer is not fixed each other to contact to a conductive track. The supporting strip 80 is bent in the shape of L.
