PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical brake operation device.SOLUTION: A brake operation device is provided with a first spring 70 energizing a brake operation member 20 in a retreating direction by being extended according to advance of the brake operation member 20, and a second spring 72 energizing the brake operation member 20 in the retreating direction by being compressed according to the advance of the brake operation member 20, and is structured so that the second spring 72 is buckled when making the brake operation member 20 go ahead by a prescribed amount of θor more. According to the brake operation device 10, relatively large reactive force is given and produces rigid feeling at the time of initial input to the brake operation member 20, and large braking force is ensured when the operation amount of the brake operation member 20 is large owing to sudden braking or the like.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
