PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distortion compensating circuit, having a negative gain deviation for reducing the positive gain deviation of a power amplifier element caused by reducing the DC bias current for a high efficiency operation, a power amplifier for realizing high efficiency and high-linearity operation, using the same and a communications apparatus that uses the power amplifier. SOLUTION: The distortion compensator circuit has a structure with a diode-included circuit connected between a signal route and ground. The voltage applied to the diode is forward bias and a compensator circuit is used such that the variation quantity for the ratio of the output power outputted from the signal route to the input power inputted to the signal route is 0 or negative.
