<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film which can be used for a light scattering polarization selective element, an optical isolator or the like by using particles capable of controlling shape and size thereof with a simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: The optical film is characterized in that: (1) a fibrous polymer that incorporates particles is included therein; (2) the minor diameter of the fibrous polymer is 1 to 150 nm and the major diameter thereof is 0.1 to 15 μm (described in the claim 1); and (3) a refractive index of the particle is 1.5 to 3.0 (described in the claim 1 or the claim 2). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
