<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aerosol type applying container enabling a liquid in an aerosol container body to flow out to an application unit by pushing a transverse operating plate in a direction of a stem erected from a top face of the aerosol container body since a container with a push-button depression type application unit being fitted to the aerosol type container body is difficult and inconvenient for the push-button depressing operation. <P>SOLUTION: A main cylindrical member 11 having a communicating tube 18 to be erected by fitting a lower portion thereof to an upper portion of a stem 2 of an aerosol container body is fitted to an upper portion of an aerosol type container body 1. A member 31 having an application unit is fitted to an upper portion of the communicating tube. An engagement plate 16 with a lower side thereof forming a downward and backward inclined face is added to an upper end front face of an operating plate 17 which is suspended from a rear portion of the member, and returned and erected. By pushing the operating plate forwardly, the engagement plate 16 is pushed into a window hole 38 in a lower portion of a pull-down plate 39 suspended from a rear portion of the main cylindrical member, and the communicating tube 18 of the member with the application unit is inclined downward and backward.
