PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for identifying and dispensing specimens, capable of dispensing specimens at a predetermined specimen dispensing position so as to give no influence to the specimens, without contaminating after the identification of the specimens, and also, of reducing a processing time for dispensing operations, and a method therefor. SOLUTION: The device for identifying and dispensing specimens, includes an optical measuring device 12 of an identifying section for measuring the light information of specimens S to identify it by irradiating excitation light L against the specimens S of objects to be measured that are dispersed in a liquid flowing in a capillary 21; a dispensing section 13 for dispensing the specimens S identified to a well W of an object area to be dispensed through a nozzle 30; and a concentration adjusting section 400 for adjusting the specimens S in a preparative isolation solution based on the concentration of a sample solution and the quantity of the preparative isolation solution, wherein this dispensing section 13 is three-dimensionally movable against the identifying section 12 and the nozzle 30.
