PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably transfer hydrate slurry produced in a generator to a dehydration unit. SOLUTION: The gas hydrate slurry manufacturing apparatus 1 is composed of a generator 2 producing slurry containing gas hydrate, a circulation gas blower 5 for circulating a raw material gas in the generator 2, a circulation slurry pump 8 drawing out the slurry in the generator 2 and returning it to the generator 2 through a cooler 9, a slurry transfer pump 12 transferring slurry in the bottom of the generator 2 to a dehydration unit, and a concentration detector 14 detecting the concentration of slurry drawn out from the bottom of the generator 2. The hydrate slurry generated in the generator 2 is stably transferred to the dehydration unit by controlling at least one of the amount of the circulating gas, the amount of the circulating slurry and the temperature of the circulating slurry so that the detected slurry concentration falls within a set range.
