Disclosed are a method for improving uniformity of a display image and a display. The method for improving the uniformity of an image comprises: a display inputting a first image signal (201); compensating the first image signal to obtain a third image signal according to image compensation data (202), wherein the image compensation data is a voltage offset of a common electrode of a display array substrate determined according to a difference value between grey-scale information about the first image signal and the grey-scale information about an original second image signal corresponding to the first image signal; and displaying the third image signal (203). The method for improving the uniformity of a display image can effectively improve the uniformity of the display image under the condition that the image display brightness is not decreased.
