Provided is a method for manufacturing a sintered bearing (1) in which a cylindrical part (2) of fixed diameter and a one-side-enlarged-diameter part (an enlarged-diameter part) (3) that gradually increases in diameter toward one axial side are provided so as to be axially joined in the inner peripheral surface, wherein: a cylindrical-part-molding surface (52a) provided to a core (52) is press-fitted into the inner peripheral surface of a sintered body (30') from one axial side when a tubular sintered body (30') is sized; and a one-side-enlarged-diameter-surface-molding surface (52b), which is provided so as to be axially joined with the cylindrical-part-molding surface (52a), is then pressed against the inner peripheral surface (30a') of the sintered body (30') while the outer peripheral surface of the sintered body (30') is restrained by a die (51), whereby the cylindrical part (2) and the one-side-enlarged-diameter part (3) are molded in the inner peripheral surface of the sintered body (30'). |
