PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin-walled fixing roller having a higher strength. SOLUTION: The fixing roller has a core bar having a cylindrical structure. The core bar is provided with a thin cylinder body having a plurality of circular ribs 2a and 2c formed on an inside surface thereof and at least one reinforcing ring 3 held between two circular ribs 2a on the inside of the thin cylinder body 2. Since the fixing roller can have higher crush strength than a conventional ribbed thin fixing roller, the fixing roller can be reinforced neither more or less in accordance with an applied pressure, and thus the thin-walled fixing roller having higher strength is obtained.
