A system and method of controlling an electric car charging post on the basis of electric grid frequency regulation. The system comprises a sequentially connected single-phase electric grid power input port, voltage transformer, AD conversion chip, first data processor, and second data processor. The first data processor is respectively connected to a real-time data display device and a GPS/BeiDou navigation signal receiver. The second data processor is configured to respectively communicate with an electric car charging post and an electric car battery set, and connected to a human-machine interface device. The control system and method can monitor in real-time a power system frequency, remove a less important loading such as the electric car charging station when the power system malfunctions and the system frequency is severely low, leading to a decrease in active power shortage, effectively preventing load shedding in a low frequency condition, and reducing a frequency recovery time after a power blackout. |
