PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support processes of application until the application is surely complete through exchange of highly confidential drafts and corrected originals of application documents between a company and a patent office, for example.SOLUTION: A document exchange system includes: attribute storage means for storing attribute information on an application document including a person who has prepared the document; reception means for receiving the application document; generation means for obtaining the attribute information on the application document, converting the obtained attribute information into a code image and then embedding it into the application document to generate an application document with a code; document storage means for storing the application document with the code; transmission means for transmitting the application document with the code to a second terminal; reception means for receiving the application document with the code in an image data format; extraction means for extracting the attribute information from the code image embedded in the application document with the code in the image data format; and transmission means for specifying the person who has prepared the document included in the attribute information as a transmission destination and transmitting the application document with the code in the image data format to a first terminal that is the terminal of the person who has prepared the document. |
