PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the rotation displacement or inclination of a worm gear in a conventional outside mirror device for a vehicle. SOLUTION: A first worm gear 29 is constituted of a gear part and a pin 33. A shaft 42 is provided at one end of the first worm gear 29 as the gear part. A fit hole 44 is formed at the other end of the first worm gear 29. The pin 33 is fitted with the fit hole 44. Two bearing holes 52, 53 are formed at a plate 16. The shaft 42 of the first worm gear 29 and the pin 33 are borne in the two bearing holes 52, 53. As a result, the rotation displacement or inclination of the first worm gear 29 can be prevented.
