PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous flexographic printing ink composition obtained by using a production system such as a dispensing system, which causes no pigment shock during the preparation of the aqueous flexographic printing ink composition, has less reduction in viscosity even if a dilution ratio with water is increased when printing is performed by diluting the aqueous flexographic printing ink composition with water and provides a printed matter having good glossiness and density.MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEM: There is provided an aqueous flexographic printing ink composition which comprises a pigment, a pigment-dispersing resin, a styrene-acrylic resin emulsion, a rheology control agent and an aqueous medium, wherein the content of the pigment in the aqueous flexographic printing ink composition is 5-60 mass%, the rheology control agent is carboxymethyl cellulose having a weight average molecular weight of 200000-2000000 and the content of the carboxymethyl cellulose in the aqueous flexographic printing ink composition is 0.01-2.0 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
