PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position calculating device made less susceptible to position skipping by reducing the influence of multipath propagation.SOLUTION: A position calculating device is equipped with an absolute position/azimuth detecting unit 112 that calculates the current position of a vehicle 2 on the basis of satellite signals received from satellites, a relative azimuth detecting unit 120 that calculates the current position of the vehicle 2 by a self-contained navigation method, a straight travel determining unit 203 that determines whether or not the vehicle is traveling straight, and a position identifying unit 204 that chooses as the current position of the vehicle 2 the current position calculated by the relative azimuth detecting unit 120 when the straight travel determining unit 203 determines that the vehicle 2 is traveling straight.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
