A method for driving a DC motor of a compressor with desired speed is provided to reduce noise or vibration due to unintentional motor speed change by changing actual rotation speed of the motor only when equal motor rotation speed is continuously maintained, and to provide a computer-readable medium having recorded a program realizing each step of the method for driving the DC motor of the compressor with the desired speed. A method for driving a DC motor of a compressor with desired speed comprises the steps of receiving a signal showing desired speed of the DC motor(S110), detecting desired rotation speed of the DC motor based on the signal(S110), and allowing the DC motor to be driven to become the desired rotation speed of the motor when the desired rotation speed of the detected motor is uniformly maintained for more than predetermined critical time(S130), and allowing the rotation speed of the DC motor to be not changed when the desired rotation speed of the detected motor is maintained for less than the critical time(S140).
