PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate troublesome input of a denomination and the number thereof in currency exchange and easily calculate a denomination to be paid and the number thereof from a received denomination and the number thereof while dispensing with confirmation of a pattern of currency exchange. SOLUTION: In currency exchanging, a screen in which currency exchange to 1/10 denomination or currency exchange to 1/100 denomination is selectable is displayed on a display part 3 to make a user select either one. The received cash inputted to a coin processor 1 or a bill processor 2 by the user is counted, the denomination of the received cash is converted to 1/10 denomination or 1/100 denomination, and cash of the converted denomination is paid as exchanged money.
