PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component supply unit capable of attaining stable component supply by smoothly starting supply when supplying electronic components by using a new storage tape.SOLUTION: A first component drop device 91 is provided which drops an electronic component D in a storage recess Cb of a storage tape CX by providing a roller 120 at an upstream side, in a feeding direction of the storage tape, of a cutter 30 which opens a top face of the storage recess by cutting a cover tape Cc covering the top face of the storage recess Cb of the storage tape CX . The cover tape Cc covering the top face of the storage recess Cb positioned lower is pressed from an upper side by the roller 120 of the first component drop device 91, and the electronic component D in the storage recess is dropped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
