1. Process for preparing a compound of formula (I) where R1 is hydrogen, C1-C8-alkyl, C2-C6-alkenyl, C3-C6-cycloalkyl, C1-C8-alkoxy, C1-C6-alkoxy-C2-C6-alkenyl, phenyl, benzyl; R2, R3 are each independently C1-C8-alkyl, aryl, heteroaryl, C2-C6-alkenyl, C3-C8-cycloalkyl, C1-C6-alkoxy, C1-C6-haloalkyl, C1-C6-haloalkoxy; X is chlorine or bromine, and n is 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4; comprising initially charging as reaction medium an alkali metal hydroxide in a concentration of from 20% to 50%, subsequently first A) reacting the compounds (II) and (III) where R1, R2, R3 and X are as defined above and Y is chlorine, bromine, iodine, an alkylsulphonate (—OSO2-alkyl, preferably —OSO2CH3, —OSO2CF3) or an arylsulphonate (—OSO2-aryl); in a molar ratio of from 0.9 to 2.5 and B) adding to the reaction mixture in from 0 to 9 mol of water based on 1 mol of the compound of formula (III), and subsequently removing the aqueous phase from the product. |
