PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for counting the number of fired bullets capable of accurately counting the number of fired bullets by detecting pressure change of a muzzle portion by firing gas pressure by a distortion sensor. SOLUTION: A detecting member 13 comprising a detection recessed portion 13a opened near the muzzle of the gun 1 in a state of expanding toward a front part, is mounted in a state of not projecting from a tip of a barrel 5, a distortion sensor 16 is disposed on the detecting member 13 in a state of positioning its detecting portion 16a on a depth portion of the detection recessed portion 13a, and a counter 20 is mounted on the gun in a state that it is connected with the distortion sensor 16 for discriminating and counting the number of fired bullets of the gun on the basis of distortion quantity and distortion time of the distortion sensor 16.
