<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable another user to efficiently use a print processing apparatus, by automatically canceling stop so as to allow another user to efficiently use a print processing apparatus, even if a user intentionally stops printing processing and leaves it as it is. <P>SOLUTION: When the user presses down a printing stop/restart key in an operating section (S201), the print processing apparatus is shifted to the stopped state of the printing processing, and an equipment information management section starts timing (S202). When the printing stop/restart key is not pressed down again (S203), in other words, when the stopped state of the printing processing is left as it is, the equipment information management section refers to the set time stored in a memory device (S204) and carries out determination by comparing the counted elapsed time of the stopped state of the printing processing with the set time (S205).
