SOUND MODEL GENERATOR, SOUND MODEL GENERATING METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a burden of preparing a sound model used in estimation of a fundamental frequency.

SOLUTION: A function estimation part 22 estimates a distribution of each sound model when modeling musical sound of an instrument as mixed distributions of a plurality of sound models M as a probability density function P of a fundamental frequency. A sound model generation part 200 is a device for generating the sound model M. A storage part 61 stores a basic model M0 for modeling a harmonic structure regarding a frequency FA as the fundamental frequency. A characteristic specification part 62 specifies a frequency characteristic CB imparted in the musical sound according to a condition of an instrument when outputting musical sound regarding a frequency FB as the fundamental frequency. A characteristic imparting part 63 generates the sound model M for modeling the harmonic structure regarding the frequency FB as the fundamental frequency by imparting the frequency characteristic CB specified by the characteristic specification part 62 to the basic model M0.
