PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminating device or the like, distinguishing the kind of an attachment.

SOLUTION: This illuminating device 30 includes: an irradiating part 36 for applying illuminating light for photographing; and a read part 60 for reading identification information 43 of the attachment 40 having identification information 43 for identifying the kind of the attachment itself and applied to an irradiating part 36 in the state where the attachment 40 is applied to the irradiating part 36.
