PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce density unevenness occurring by deformation processing of a binary image.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes an image deformation unit performing deformation processing of a binary image, which adds a noise component corresponding to the deformation ratio of each pixel to the gradation value of each pixel after deformation processing. The image deformation unit converts the binary image into multivalued image (S1), calculates the gradation value of each pixel after deformation, by interpolating the gradation value of each pixel of the multivalued image, while weighting depending on the deformation ratio of each pixel (S2), and performs addition of the noise component by filtering the multivalued image after deformation by using a smoothing filter having intensity depending on the deformation ratio (S3).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
