PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair with a pocket capable of largely opening the upper side of the pocket and retaining the shape of the upper side of the pocket. SOLUTION: This chair 1 with the pocket is formed with the pocket 4 using an approximately rectangular cloth member 8 and having the opened upper side in the back face of the chair 1 alignedly used into a line in the front/rear direction; at least upper parts of the left/right sides of the cloth member 8 are formed with side gusset parts 22 folded in the front side; a contracting/extending strap material 14 is attached along the upper side of the cloth member 8, the side gusset parts 8 are threadedly fitted with the back face of the chair 1 with screws 17; and the left/right ends of the strap material 14 are engaged with the screws 17.
