PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly make a flexible workpiece at a compact folded posture for packaging without damaging the flexible workpiece. SOLUTION: While the flexible workpiece W is wound up on a winding core 25 having a flat ratio of sectioned length and breadth so that the flexible workpiece W retained in an extended state is repetitively folded along the extensional direction from its one end side, the winding core 25 is moved along the extensional direction of the flexible workpiece W so as to approximately synchronize with a winding speed to the winding core 25. After winding of the flexible workpiece W is completed, the flexible workpiece W is taken out in an extensional direction of the movement direction of the winding core 25 after separating the flexible workpiece W and winding core 25.
