<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste heat using system of an internal combustion engine effectively utilizing expansion energy generated by an expander while preventing rise of rotation speed of the expander with exceeding an appropriate range. <P>SOLUTION: The waste heat using system for an engine 2 is provided with a power generation device 30 connected to a first expander 18 and mechanically driven by torque, a bypass passage 46 bypassing the first expander 18, a second expander 50 inserted in a bypass path 46 and expanding working fluid flowing in the bypass path 46, a solenoid valve 48 inserted at least one of a circulation path 12 and the bypass path 46 and adjusting flow rate of working fluid in the first expander 18, an ammeter 54 detecting quantity of electricity supplied to a field coil of the power generation device 30, and ECU 52 controlling the solenoid valve 48 according to detection result of the ammeter 54. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
