<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor capable of compensating an error of an electric resistance value of a heater accurately and simply. <P>SOLUTION: This gas sensor is provided with a gas detection part 1, the heater 2 changing electric resistance value in accordance with temperature, and a controlling part 3 for controlling the operation of the heater 2 and carrying current into the heater 2 for heating. The controlling part 3 has a current supply part 6 for supplying current into the heater 2 while current carrying into the heater 2 for heating is stopped, a voltage detection part 7 for detecting voltages at both ends of the heater 2 when current is supplied into the heater 2 from the current supply part 6, and a current adjusting part 8 for adjusting amount of current supplied from the current supply part 6 based on ambient temperature and the voltages at both ends of the heater 2 detected by the voltage detection part 7 while the heater 2 is cold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
