PROCESS FOR PROGNOSING of reversibility of DAMAGE OF neuromuscular THROAT MECHANISM AFTER OPERATIVE INTERVENTION ON THYROID GLAND

A process for forecasting of reversability of damage of the neuromuscular throat mechanism after operative intervention on the thyroid gland comprises the study of the spectral analysis of a voice signal. In the early postoperative period in the spectral analysis of the voice the formant of "e” public letter is studied, frequency and peak changes of F2 and F3 formants are estimated and at change relative to the factor norm of formant F3: F2 ratio from 0.9 up to 0.7 the reversible process is prognosticated, and at decreasing of said factor from 0.7 and below - the irreversible process demanding surgical intervention is prognosticated.
