PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure safety and comfort of a user.SOLUTION: A remote operation apparatus operated remotely via a network includes an apparatus body, a human body detector provided in the apparatus body, and detecting existence of a human body, a reception unit for receiving a remote signal from the network, and a control unit for controlling the apparatus body based on the remote signal received by the reception unit.
