PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To photograph a subject with an appropriate exposure amount using an imaging apparatus that emits stroboscopic light.

SOLUTION: A main control unit 10 includes: a scene determination part 41 for determining a scene in the circumference of the subject; a face detection part 42 for detecting a face of the subject; a stationary determination part 43 for determining a stationary state of a case on the basis of blurring information received from a blurring detection part; an LV value detection part 46 for detecting an LV value indicating brightness of the subject; an exposure condition assumption part 45 for comparing the LV value detected by the LV value detection part 46 with a predetermined threshold and assuming exposure conditions; an exposure decision part 44 for deciding whether the assumed exposure conditions are proper, based on the scene determined by the scene determination part 41, the face of the subject detected by the face detection part 42 and the stationary state determined by the stationary determination part 43; and an exposure condition determination part 48 for determining the exposure conditions changed into a program chart 47 corresponding to the exposure conditions determined on the basis of the LV value detected.
