Methods of applying coating compositions

A coating system for use in a wet on wet coating application process is disclosed utilising first and second coating compositions which form therebetween a boundary layer. A part A reactive component included in at least one of the two compositions is reactive with a part B reactive component included in at least one of the two compositions such that the boundary layer includes a reaction product of the part A reactive component and the part B reactive component. The second composition may include a catalyst for catalyzing the part B component.
