A steam generating apparatus is provided to improve the efficiency of a steam heater by reducing the amount of consumed steam water and improving the heat transfer efficiency of the steam heater. A steam generating apparatus includes a casing, a steam heater(44), and a sprayer(70). The casing connects a steam water supply passage and a steam discharge passage. The steam heater is installed in the interior of the casing to generate steam from the steam water supplied through the steam water supply passage. The sprayer is installed at a connection portion of the steam water supply passage and the casing so that the steam water can be supplied into the casing in a spraying state. |
