A base plate (1), a cover plate, and two side plates (2) are coated on the folding edges with a decorative foil. Each plate is rectangular and has a chamfered side edge (5,6) formed having a cross-section such that coupling the chamfered side edges of two plates forms a cavity (9) between the side edge surfaces into which adhesive is injectable. The chamfered side edges, in the coupled condition, form a channel that receives an electrical cable and receives adhesive from the cavity to form a sheath that completely encloses the cable.
