FIELD: information technology.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and a system for searching for application software. Stated result is achieved by use of an application software search system. System comprises: application software; servers configured to execute application software; task schedulers for said servers to execute application software according to scheduling policy; databases; computer programs to collect dynamic data from the application; search engines which provide services to search for application software using dynamic data collected from the application and stored in the aforementioned databases. Wherein the dynamic application data are selected from a group consisting of symbols, attributes, descriptions, serial numbers, identifiers, statistics, history records, hyperlinks, paths to files, audio, video.
