A display device comprises: a display panel configured to display an image; a polarizing film provided onto a side of the display panel on which the image is displayed; and an optical compensation member provided between the display panel and the polarizing film wherein the optical compensation member includes a substituted or non-substituted conjugated aromatic compound. Therefore, the display device improves a side viewing angle feature.
