An automation system for a machine tool according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a material supply unit for supplying materials; a plurality of machine tools for processing the materials; a transfer device for transferring the materials between the material supply unit and the machine tools; a material supply detection unit installed in the material supply unit to detect whether there are the materials to be supplied to the machine tools; and a control unit for cutting off power supplied to the machine tool, for which the material supply is stopped, after completing the material processing operation of the machine tool, for which the material supply by the material supply unit is stopped, among the machine tools based on information detected by the material supply detection unit. The automation system for a machine tool according to the present invention can reduce the standby power of the machine tool to which the materials are not supplied. |
