PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire supply device capable of surely detecting a tie of a wire.SOLUTION: A wire supply device 1 couples a terminal of a first wire 12 of a first pack 10 and a tip end of a second wire 22 of a second pack 20 and then supplies the wire to a coil processing device 3. A first thin film 40 disposed on one end of the first pack 10 in an axial direction can be displaced by being pressed by the first wire 12, when the first wire 12 is taken out from the first pack 10. A first sensor 61 outputs on and off signals according to displacement of the first thin film 40. A controller 7 determines that a tie 8 of the first wire 12 and second wire 22 is taken out, when the state of the first sensor 61 changes from a state that outputting the on and off signals according to displacement of the first thin film 40 to a state that does not output the signals. Therefore, it is surely detected that the tie 8 of the wire is supplied to the coil processing machine 3 to which the wire supply device 1 supplies the wire. |
