<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily recover the resin used in an optical disk with high purity in the recycling of the optical disk 10. <P>SOLUTION: The optical disk recycling method has a grinding process and a peripheral surface removing process. In the grinding process, the recording surface 31, which is the surface opposite to a reading surface 30 being the exposed surface of the substrate part 11 of the optical disk 10, is ground until the substrate part 11 is exposed.
