PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound machine, capable of equipping a telltale light for informing a user of a call arrival arranged in the unit with a display for indication and a control panel, as well as informing a user who is distant from the combination machine of an incoming call. SOLUTION: The compound machine is provided with copy functions and facsimile functions at least and has a unit with a display for indication and a control panel. The machine is equipped with a indication light for informing the user of a call arrival. The unit is attached to the main part of the combination machine, in such a position freely changeable way that the indication light is easy to see from a position where it is easy for a user to read the content of an indication displayed on the display, when the user operates the compound machine, and the unit is easy for the user to see the indication light at a place distant from the compound machine itself.
