PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent data from being transmitted or the like to a wrong destination. SOLUTION: A CPU 111 of the facsimile machine (image forming apparatus) is functionally provided with: a destination reception section 111a for receiving destination identification information being information for identifying an address and comprising a plurality of characters; a first voice output section 111c for outputting voice corresponding to the received destination identification information every time the destination reception section 111a receives the destination identification information; a processing reception section 111d that receives execution instruction information being information of prescribed processing (registration processing or transmission processing in this case) after the destination reception section 111a receives the destination identification information; and a second voice output section 111e for outputting voice corresponding to the destination identification information when the processing reception section 111d receives the execution instruction information, and a RAM 112 of the facsimile machine 1 includes a destination information storage section 112a for storing the destination identification information, destination name information and abbreviation number information while associated with each other.
