Light Sensitive Organic Photoconductor

An electrophotoconductive element which may be irradiated with laser light having a wavelength (lambda) of about 350-500 nm which contains titanylphthalocyanine (TiOPC), which may be polymorphic. The electrophotoconductive element may therefore include an electroconductive support, a charge generation layer containing TiOPC, a charge transport layer and a source of laser light having a wavelength of about 350-500 nm. The charge transport layer may also exhibit light transmitting properties over the indicated laser wavelengths.
