An electric heater includes a heating member (70) having a PTC element (72) and a fin member (80) for dissipating heat generated in the heating member (70). The fin member (80) is arranged in contact with a casing member arranged outside the heating member (70). The casing member includes a pair of sandwiching plates (75, 75) to sandwich the heating member constituting element including the PTC element (72). The fin member (80) is brazed to the surface (75a) of the pair of sandwiching plates (75, 75). A clip member (90) is provided to engage the edge portions of the sandwiching plates (75, 75) while applying weight to the sandwiching plates (75, 75) in the sandwiching direction.
